About This Product

■Buss kneader technology for powder coatings

The PCS series for powder coatings has an expanded processing section and has become a standard product in terms of profitability, availability, and ease of handling. Particularly in the machining process, new changes have been made while maintaining the operating principles for which the Buss kneader has been highly praised. The PCS46 is a multi-purpose compact extruder that can be used to efficiently carry out research and development or to manufacture prototypes. The lab-sized PCS30 is also versatile, but is primarily used for research and development, color matching and customer prototyping.

Applications such as high gloss, transparent coatings and thin films especially benefit from the strengths of the PCS series.

■Prototype line machine PCS46

The PCS46 is a versatile, compact extruder for efficient R&D and prototyping. The lab-sized PCS30 is also versatile, but is primarily used for research and development, color matching and customer prototyping. This economical and easy-to-use kneader for small production runs has a throughput of 250 kg/h and provides processing conditions similar to production Buss kneaders. The machining process section is designed proportionally throughout the size, allowing all production and machining conditions to be precisely matched. The barrel can be opened and closed in two parts, making it possible not only to see the process component screw, but also to visually evaluate the individual stages of the machining process.

■PCS30 for laboratory use

The PCS30 for laboratory use is a small kneading extruder for research and development, color mixing, and sample prototyping for customers. This economical and easy-to-use kneading machine for small-scale production shows similar processing conditions from sample production with a discharge rate of 300 g to production levels of 40 kg/h. Its scale-up potential makes it a standard laboratory kneader that combines efficiency and flexibility.
