■Features
・The thickness of the fiber is 9/125μ.

・The standard polishing method for our optical cable connectors is SPC polishing. Please contact us for other polishing methods.
・The standard color of SingleMode optical cable is yellow. Multi-core types are also available.
・The connector image shows a general shape and may differ from the one delivered by us. For outdoor use, integrally molded connectors may be used.
■About cable color
The cable color of the reinforced type with a thickness of 62.5/125μm and the reinforced type/drum-wound cable is bright green.
■About RoHS compliance
All optical cables we handle are RoHS compliant, except for the drum-wound type.
■What is Pooling Eye?
This is a traction tool that is attached to the tip of an optical cable and used to lay underground conduits and subscriber lines. Since the cable tension member is pulled, no unnecessary force is applied to the fiber.
■Flame retardancy of optical cables
Standards expressing the flame retardancy of optical cables include the National Electrical Code (NEC) of the United States overseas, and in Japan the standard grade JIS C 3005 (60° tilt test) and the highly flame retardant grade JIS C 3521 (vertical tray test). Plenums (CMP) and risers (CMR) specified by the US National Electrical Code require higher flame retardancy than JIS C 3521.
■Reinforced type
"Reinforced type" means that the cable strength is required when the optical cable exceeds a certain length (in our case, 30m for convenience). If the cable length exceeds 30m, standard optical cables without tension members have weak tensile strength and may break, so if the cable length is 30m or more, we recommend using a "reinforced type" as much as possible.
■For outdoor/reinforced type
"Outdoor use/reinforced type" is a reinforced cord assembly type optical cable with excellent durability such as humidity resistance and temperature resistance.The internal single-core cord is covered with an outer sheath, and an additional 2-core (or 4-core) cord is covered with aluminum laminate tape and outer sheath.
