About This Product

The test tube capper/decapper MCD-13 reduces the burden of attaching and removing screw caps on microtubes. Since there is no need to touch it directly, it always ensures cleanliness and process stability. Additionally, since the tightening torque of the cap is constant, the risk of leakage during transportation is reduced. Additionally, the MCD-13 reduces the burden on the operator's hands. Manually attaching screw caps is known to pose risks such as tendonitis, so automatic capping using machines has become more important in recent years. The MCD-13 was designed for capping and uncapping the screw caps of test tubes with a diameter of 13 mm, which are frequently used in laboratories for the preparation and processing of samples and reagents, but it is available in a variety of sizes. It can also be applied to caps, vials, and test tubes. It is a small desktop device that takes less than half an A4 sheet of paper and is convenient to carry. This product can be operated with minimal training. Before setting the cap in the holder, manually attach the cap lightly to each tube and push it into the device to cap it. By pressing the switch, it switches to decapping operation.
