About This Product
Single-sided 2-corner specification. The low resistance design realizes highly efficient machining in long overhang machining and interrupted cutting.
■Suitable for machining with long overhangs and interrupted cutting
The insert has a large rake angle, and the main body has a positive axial rake design for good cutting. SIC-EVO reduces cutting resistance and is ideal for long overhang machining and interrupted cutting.
■Achieving high depth of cut and high precision machining
The axial depth of cut (ap) can be as large as 15mm, allowing for highly efficient shoulder milling, and the arc-shaped cutting edge trajectory suppresses cusp height to achieve high-precision machining. It can be used for a wide range of applications such as helical machining, groove cutting, and pocket machining.
■Corner R size is available in 5 sizes.
The lineup includes 5 corner radius sizes: 0.4, 0.8, 1.6, 2.0, and 3.0 to accommodate various corner radii.
