About This Product
This product is drain piping for air conditioning. When the air conditioner is in cooling operation, condensed water generated by the indoor unit's heat exchanger must be drained through the drain pipe connected to the indoor unit. During the process of draining condensed water, condensation occurs due to the hot air outside and the cold condensed water inside the drain pipe.
Therefore, it is necessary to insulate the drain piping during piping construction to prevent condensation. This product is a pipe with a hollow section, and a net-shaped foam is fused to the inside surface of the pipe, which blocks outside temperature from the surface of the pipe and improves insulation.
In other words, it has an insulating effect even at a thin thickness, prevents condensation without the need for insulation, and can be expected to solve existing problems such as stains, discoloration, mold growth, and pipe corrosion.
■Workability and economy
・AD piping has sufficient insulation performance, so there is no need to install insulation material. Therefore, it is an economical piping material that saves material costs and time for insulation work.
・Unlike the existing 5-step complicated construction method, the one-touch construction method does not use adhesives and is more than 10 times faster.
■Corrosion resistance/chemical resistance
Due to the excellent corrosion and chemical resistance of hard vinyl chloride, scale and rust do not occur, and bacterial growth is significantly lower than other piping materials.
■Fluid flowability
The smooth surface allows fluid to flow easily and prevents rust, limescale, and contaminants from forming and accumulating.
■Durability
We have verified the 100-year durability of the packing (EPDM material). (As a result of reliability assurance testing, 100-year lifespan was verified at a usage environment of 20°C and a reliability level of 90%)
