About This Product

Dumasrm is a combustion method (improved Dumas method) analyzer developed specifically for measuring nitrogen/protein in various raw materials and products such as agricultural products, foods, and pharmaceuticals. The device was developed with the theme of "equalizing accuracy and running costs to Kjeldahl." The problem with the conventional modified Dumas method was its high cost. Dumastherm focused on the cause of this problem, which is the use of large amounts of expensive high-purity oxygen, and succeeded in reducing the amount of pure oxygen used as combustion gas to the necessary minimum. Even if 60 samples are measured every day, a 7m3 cylinder can be used for over two years, so the use of high-purity oxygen, which is essential for high-precision analysis, is not a burden. Measurements are automatically performed using the Japanese language-only software "Dumatherm Manager" on a PC. Anyone can easily set measurement conditions, enter sample name, and weight on a PC screen, and weight can be entered directly from the balance. Dumastherm Manager constantly monitors the condition of the equipment and automatically notifies you when it is time to replace consumables. This device, Dumastherm N Pro, is a new model that follows the excellent high-speed measurement, low running cost, and high accuracy of the previous model, and has improved the standard autosampler to an XY type with 64 measurements. This model is now compatible with argon gas as a carrier gas. By reviewing the internal structure of the device, we have successfully reduced the amount of carrier gas used by 20% and increased the measurable sample weight by more than 50%. A transparent hood is attached to the autosampler section to cover the drive section and improve safety.
