■Characteristics of Calmflex F-140 damping material
Calmflex F-140 damping material has a high specific gravity, is viscoelastic, and has a feel similar to a slightly hardened low-rebound urethane sponge. Since it is a sponge-based damping material and has open cells, it can be used not only as a sound absorbing material, but also as a sound insulating material due to its high specific gravity and sound insulating properties.It is also effective as a sound damping material, as a sound muffler, as a sound deadening/soundproofing measure for commercial vacuum cleaners, and as a soundproofing material. It is effective as a building material that has a noise-absorbing effect, a board material that has a sound-absorbing effect, high-pressure washers, cleaning equipment, and noise countermeasures for switchboards.
It is also effective for placing under floor mats to prevent vehicle deadening and road noise by utilizing the material's viscoelasticity, and to improve sound insulation from external noise around doors, inside tire wells, and on the floor of the rear luggage room. In addition, it absorbs sound and suppresses vibration, and is suitable for use in situations where thickness is limited.
