About This Product

■What is freeze pulverization?

Substances have the property of becoming rapidly brittle when the temperature drops below a certain level, and this is called "low-temperature brittleness." Utilizing this property, it is possible to easily crush rubber and resins that are difficult to crush at room temperature, as well as foods that contain a lot of oil and moisture. The freeze-grinding method is used in a variety of industries and has greatly contributed to the development of industry.

■Frozen Pulverization System

In response to various modern needs, we have developed the ICROSS MILL, a pulverizer exclusively for freezing and pulverizing using liquid nitrogen, in order to handle materials that are difficult to pulverize at room temperature. With the newly added ``ICROS MILL'' to our lineup, we offer a high-spec freeze-grinding system. The structure of the rotary main body has been revised to make it suitable for freezing and crushing, and stable operation is now possible even in the harsher ultra-low temperature range. This makes it possible to stably grind thermoplastic resins in general and foods containing oil, which were previously difficult to grind even at room temperature or at low temperatures of around -10°C, by utilizing the low-temperature brittleness caused by liquid nitrogen. Masu. We can also sell a system that includes not only the main unit of ``ICROS MILL'' but also incidental equipment such as a dedicated feeder, cyclone, and liquid nitrogen supply tank.

■Crushing principle

① The raw materials fed into the feeder are exposed to ultra-low temperatures by the liquid nitrogen stored in the hopper, causing them to freeze and be fed while exhibiting low-temperature brittleness. ② The raw materials that have been frozen and exhibiting brittle characteristics are coarsely crushed and dispersed into the outer shell by a distributor before proceeding to the crushing chamber. ③The raw material that has advanced to the grinding chamber is crushed while being subjected to the impact of the blade liner and the shearing effect of the high-speed vortex generated on the back of the blade. The set of effects that occur in ④ and ③ occur in one stage of the rotor, and since there are four stages of rotors, the input raw material is instantaneously pulverized before it passes through the rotating body and is discharged outside the machine. ■Excellent fluidity

Improved handling can be expected due to smoother particle surfaces and improved fluidity.

■No deterioration due to heat

Since it is crushed while maintaining its frozen state, it is possible to suppress quality deterioration due to the heat of crushing that tends to occur under room temperature environments.

■Does not oxidize

Since the environment is filled with nitrogen from freezing to pulverization, pulverization can be performed while suppressing oxidation reactions of substances.
