About This Product

■Summary

SMH-01B11 is a thermopile type infrared array sensor module that can detect infrared energy in an area with 8 x 8 pixels, convert it to radiant temperature, and output it. A Si lens optical system is mounted, and the built-in MCU with A/D converter digitally outputs the converted radiation temperature of each pixel and the environmental temperature measured by the temperature sensor mounted on the sensor chip via the I2C interface. In addition, a variable magnification preamplifier with a magnification of 20 to 200 times is built into the sensor IC, allowing measurement over a wide temperature range by auto-range switching using the control software. Compared to conventional sensors, it features high output sensitivity and a wide detection temperature range, and is expected to be used in the home appliance and industrial equipment fields (air conditioning, medical care, and automobiles).
