About This Product

Conventional frequency analysis discards time information. On the other hand, wavelet analysis is an analysis system that can dynamically express time and frequency simultaneously. Example: By analyzing the time-vibration frequency of the falling process, we found the critical point of falling.

■Overview of wavelet analysis program

Wavelet analysis is a technique often used in engineering and science fields for time-series data and image analysis. Wavelet transform is attracting attention as an alternative to Fourier transform, which is a common analysis method for discontinuous and non-stationary waveform signals. It dramatically increases the time resolution compared to conventional waveform signal processing, making it ideal for analyzing sudden events and unsteady frequencies whose frequencies change over time. Signal decomposition using wavelet functions can construct an image of the energy in the signal as a function of time and scale. Wavelet analysis can be used in a wide range of fields, including Earth system science, geophysics, medical physics, and astronomy. Waveform editing

■Smoothing

Smooth out fluctuations in time series data using a moving average.

■Zero adjustment

Set the intermediate value of the data to 0.

■R-R interval

The interval between the maximum value points of the detected waveform is replaced with time series data.

■Filter

Replace with time series data excluding high, medium, and low frequency components.

■Calculation editing

Four arithmetic operations are applied to the entire time series waveform.

■Section selection

Select the analysis target section.

■Section deletion

Delete unnecessary parts such as noise from the analysis target section. image editing

■Smoothing

Smooth out fluctuations in image data using a moving average.

■Median

Filter using neighborhood median. Impulse noise can be removed.

■Section selection

Select the analysis target section. Wavelet analysis (time series)

■Multi-resolution decomposition

Time series data is broken down into each level and displayed using discrete one-dimensional wavelet transform. (Decomposition level is 1 to 5 levels, Dovissi can be selected)

■Coefficient display

The wavelet coefficients are displayed as an image using color shading.

■Noise removal

Noise processing can be performed using discrete one-dimensional wavelet forward transform and inverse transform.

■Histogram

Display a histogram of decomposed time series data. Operating environment

■CPU

A personal computer equipped with a Pentium III 266MHz or higher and running Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7
