About This Product

We analyze the "self-similarity" and "scaling universality" of time-series waveforms using fractal theory and DFA analysis for waveform data of natural and biological phenomena. Example: Evaluation of gait stability.

■Overview of mono-multifractal analysis program

Mono-Multi-Fractal Analysis is a program that can comprehensively analyze fractal features using waveform data and image data as input for fractal figures represented by waves and figures in the natural world. We mainly adopted four representative methods for calculating fractal dimensions.

■DFA (Detrended Fluctuation Analysis) analysis

Fractality is calculated by changing the scale of the time-series change trend. It calculates fractal dimensions on large and small scales, and can classify the characteristics of time series data into white noise, 1/f fluctuation, Brown noise, etc.

■FFT-Power Law analysis

Calculates power law based on spectral decomposition of frequencies. Based on the fractal nature of time-series frequency changes, it can be classified into white noise, 1/f fluctuation, Brown noise, etc.

■Multifractal analysis

Functionally represent multiple fractal dimensions as general dimensions and elucidate their properties. The relationships among box count dimensions, information dimensions, correlation dimensions, etc. become clear.

■Multifractal-Wavelet analysis

Extract the skeleton of the branching structure that represents self-similarity in time series data, and calculate the multifractal dimension based on the branching structure. Operating environment

■Waveform display function

・Display of analysis data waveform (compatible with text format)

■DFA analysis

・Calculation of PowerLaw index for time series data using DFA analysis ・Calculation of two types of DFA indices

■Calculation of PowerLaw index by FFT and FFT

・Frequency spectrum logarithm display of waveform by FFT ・Calculates PowerLaw using logarithmic representation of frequency spectrum ・Comparison with 1/f reference straight line ・HanningWindowON/OFF Operating environment

■CPU

A personal computer equipped with a Pentium III 266MHz or higher and running Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7
