■Product description
Emberion VS20 camera technology provides unique wide spectrum and wide dynamic range imaging performance. The VGA resolution image sensor is based on proprietary image sensor technology and consists of a light-absorbing colloidal quantum dot (CQD) layer built monolithically on a custom-built CMOS readout integrated circuit.
CQDs offer an extremely wide spectral response range spanning wavelengths from visible (VIS) to near-infrared (NIR) to shortwave infrared (SWIR). Both the low noise and non-saturation characteristics of the photodetector give the image sensor a very large dynamic operating range. Emberion VS20 cameras are available with two interface options: CameraLink (Emberion VS20 CL) or GigE Vision (Emberion VS20 GigE).
