The photosensitive layer is monolithically bonded to a custom-made CMOS readout IC (ROIC) Compatible with off-the-self lenses, spectrograph front optics, and standard commercial camera interfaces: Camera Link and GigE Vision ・Excellent and large dynamic operating range enables high dynamic range (HDR) imaging ・Cost-effective sensor manufacturing process provides affordable camera solutions for a wide range of imaging applications ■Product description Emberion VS20 camera technology provides unique wide spectrum and wide dynamic range imaging performance. The VGA resolution image sensor is based on proprietary image sensor technology and consists of a light-absorbing colloidal quantum dot (CQD) layer built monolithically on a custom-built CMOS readout integrated circuit. CQDs offer an extremely wide spectral response range spanning wavelengths from visible (VIS) to near-infrared (NIR) to shortwave infrared (SWIR). Both the low noise and non-saturation characteristics of the photodetector give the image sensor a very large dynamic operating range.
