About This Product
■DJ-PV1D is a digital low-power community radio transceiver that requires no qualifications or licenses.
・Life waterproofing IP54
・High power of 0.5W, 50 times that of a small radio
・Outdoor calling distance is for long distances in kilometers.
・External antenna can be used, which is advantageous for in-vehicle installation
*DJ-PV1D can be connected to a commercially available external antenna. Unlike simple radios, high gain antennas are not allowed. If you transmit using an antenna other than the standard one, the technical standards will not apply. If you use a radio that does not comply with the technical standards, you will be punished as an illegal radio station. please note.
*If the antenna comes into contact with your body, the communication distance will be extremely short. Please be especially careful when communicating with the belt clip attached. If you wish to wear it on your waist, please use the optional EBC-62 quick release belt clip to prevent the antenna from coming into contact with your body.

In hand held condition (belt clip not used)
・Open places with good views, such as high buildings or mountain peaks: 3 km or more
・Large, flat land without obstacles, such as a riverbed: 2km or more
・Flat land with few obstacles in the suburbs: 1 km or more
・Urban areas with many buildings: about 200-500m, about 1km if on a straight road
*Indoors also has the characteristics of VHF band radio waves, which are about the same as a UHF 10mW extra small transceiver.
