■Output switchable
The output is switchable between a powerful 5W, a surprisingly good 2W, and a 1W that doesn't cause radio interference.
■DIN size
The sturdy metal body has a front separation system. The size is the familiar DIN size for amateur machines, and the bracket and DC cable (T-type socket) can be used as is.
■Waterproof speakers can be used
If you use the optional waterproof speaker microphones EMS-500 (approximately 0.5m in curled state) and EMS-501 (straight cord 5m), you can make calls even in wet places or with wet hands, and can also be used in conjunction with the included EMS-61. In addition to being able to hold the microphone in locations that are prone to getting wet, such as in fire departments and on ships, this feature can also be used by leisure users, such as allowing people in the back seat to join in the conversation with other vehicles when going for a drive.
*Speakers such as speaker microphones for handheld radios and EMS-62 have a rating of 0.5W, and connecting them to the speaker microphone terminal (audio output of 0.8W or more) of this unit may damage the speakers. Please do not use it. The EMS-500/501 speakers have a rated voltage rating of 2W.
*If a radio is registered by one person, there are rules that prevent it from being operated by anyone other than the registered person, whether individually or collectively. The registrant must always be present and supervising when passing the microphone to another person. If an organization such as a corporation, group, or local government registers comprehensively, any member of the organization can operate the twin microphone.
■Convenient power supply specifications
Compatible with 12V/24V environments, automatically turns on and off by sensing ACC input.
■Reception can be customized
Reception can also be customized with features such as reception sound equalization (AGC), bass and treble suppression, selection of non-target signals to receive non-confidential signals even when confidential communication is set, reception signal strength reduction notification, and fixed reception volume.
