■IP67* dustproof and waterproof performance
Dustproof and waterproof performance has been further strengthened compared to the previous model (IC-4300). Now you can use it even more safely outdoors and around water.
*It must function as a radio after being left in a suspension of test dust at a rate of 2 kg per 1 m3 for 8 hours and then taken out. In addition, it must be gently submerged in tap water at room temperature to a depth of 1m, left for 30 minutes, and then removed to function as a radio.
■Can operate for approximately 24 hours* with one battery
It can be used for about 24 hours* with one standard Japanese-made AA battery, and about 20 hours* with rechargeable battery BP-260 (optional).

■Compatible with relay device IC-RP4150W that supports LAN/LTE connection.
By using the optional relay device IC-RP4150W, you can easily extend the calling distance by about twice. Furthermore, the LAN connection enables stable calls even in large stores, facilities, and multi-story buildings.
In addition, IC-RP4150W covers all of Japan* with LTE connection (au/NTT). It is also possible to make long-distance calls, such as between chain stores and branches nationwide.
