■Product description
This product is simple, reliable and cost effective. Extraction of nucleic acids from saliva has become a cost-effective, non-invasive alternative to blood and tissue for genetic analysis. For best results, saliva donors should be instructed to refrain from eating, drinking, smoking, or using gum for at least 30 minutes. Contains a saliva preservation solution to ensure the stability of nucleic acids in saliva during transportation and storage at room temperature. Stored saliva samples can be used for nucleic acid extraction and genetic testing. The saliva collector consists of a collection funnel, a collection tube, a saliva preservation solution, and a collection tube cover. Sample collection using this product is simple and convenient, and users do not require specialized skills and can easily use it without complex training.
■Product composition
Plastic parts are injection molded from medical grade PP material. The main ingredients of the saliva preservation solution are sodium chloride, Tris hydrochloride, and edetate disodium, and it does not contain harmful ingredients such as organic solvents.

■How to use
-Do not eat, drink, smoke, or chew gum 30 minutes before collecting your saliva sample.
-Remove the cover of the collection tube and attach the collection funnel to the mouth of the tube.
- To prevent the preservation solution from flowing out of the tube, leave the tube upright and do not tilt or turn it upside down.
・Before spitting out saliva, relax your cheeks and gently rub your cheeks for about 30 seconds to spit out the saliva.
-Keep the tube vertical and spit the saliva into the collection funnel.
・The amount of saliva collected should reach 4 mL (without bubbles) according to the preservation solution in the tube.
- Once collection is complete, loosen the collection funnel and cover the collection tube.
- Label the tube and place it in a biosafety bag.
