About This Product

■Solution

・Achieves engine tuning near the knocking limit and fuel-efficient operation. ・Reduces the risk of engine stoppage due to gas quality. ・Fastly calculates gas quality parameters including methane number. - No user calibration required. - Software can be upgraded via CAN communication. There is no need to disassemble the sensor itself for updates. ・Using optical measurement, we achieved high-speed response within 1 second. ・Gas sampling is not required as it connects directly to the fuel line. -Easy to connect to engine or gas plant.

■Features

-NIRIS NG is a gas quality sensor that is installed directly in the fuel line or engine. ・NIRIS NG measures the following gas properties. Methane number, Wobbe index, higher/lower heating value, density, relative density. ・NIRIS NG can be connected to ECU via CAN communication. ・NIRIS NG does not require daily calibration. ・NIRIS NG can be installed easily in a short time. ・Custom algorithms can be added to NIRIS NG upon request. Main features

■Gas composition measurement

In infrared spectroscopy, sensors measure the mole fractions of methane, ethane, propane, and butane in natural gas.

■Gas quality parameters

A program embedded in the microprocessor calculates various parameters based on industry standards.

■Real-time measurement

Sensors and software developed using advanced optoelectronic technology enable response times of less than 1 second.

■Plug and measure

No calibration is required before or during measurement. Data can be acquired by turning on NIRIS NG and connecting it via CAN communication.
