About This Product

After 6 years, the world's first ROS robot teaching material TOMOT-Aro1 has undergone a full model change to the DX human resource development teaching material. (March 2024) While retaining the basic concepts such as the mechanical feel of aluminum alloy, the high-precision Futaba Corporation RS485 servo, and ROS standard compatibility (only ROS2 is pre-installed on Aro2), we have not only significantly improved processing power but also improved accurate pointing. It has evolved to be able to handle even more precise control by adding distance measurement and a 3-axis gyro. Microphone performance has also been significantly enhanced, with a highly sensitive ECM built into the board. The aim of TOMOT-Aro2 is to produce DX talent who will lead the world in cutting-edge fields in the next generation, where IT and programming are basic skills. Through the know-how we have cultivated with TOMOT-Aro1 and feedback from educational institutions, we have evolved into teaching materials that are easier to learn and teach. Product features

■TOMOT-Aro2 

My face is a little sharper and smaller. The head is equipped with a full HD color camera and a ToF sensor that realizes highly directional laser distance measurement.

■Humanoid bipedal robot

Because they are humanoid, they have roles to play. Equipped with 20 axes of joint freedom, no-code development is possible through teaching.

■ROS2 compatible

We are also good at developing with ROS2, which is considered an essential tool for robot development.

■Python programming

The control language is Python3, and you will learn technology with high market needs and mainstream OSS development.

■Cloud 3D simulator

No-code development is possible if you have a modern browser and internet environment. Also compatible with synchronized control

■Easy to learn with dedicated textbooks

If you use the dedicated textbook, you can learn the basics of control without getting stuck. In addition to kind words and easy-to-understand explanations, many sample sources are included.
