About This Product

■What is a radio clock repeater?

This product provides accurate time to a radio-controlled clock even in places where standard radio waves are blocked and reception is difficult, such as in buildings. Also commonly called a time transmitter (or time transmitter). The time is corrected using the commercial power frequency (AC100V 50/60Hz), and the time is adjusted by outputting standard radio waves from the handset. By using multiple slave units, it is possible to cover the entire building with radio clocks. (It is possible to centrally manage the time of the radio clocks installed with slave units [to make them a unified time]) Therefore, it is possible to take measures against time discrepancies in the radio clocks of the entire building. Additionally, the base unit is equipped with a time display and can be used as a clock.

■Problems solved by radio clock repeater

Radio-controlled clock repeaters solve the following problems in places where the standard radio waves for radio-controlled clocks cannot be received, causing the clock to go awry. ・① The radio clock is out of order even though I am in a place where I am calling customers. (Standard radio waves cannot be received) ・②The clocks in each room show different times. ・③ I use multiple clocks and checking the time difference is a hassle. ・④ I need to set the time because there is no radio waves, but for security reasons I cannot connect to the network. Or, line construction cannot be carried out. ・⑤ I don't want to put extra equipment where the clock is.

■How to use the radio clock repeater

A radio clock repeater consists of a parent unit and a slave unit. After installing the base unit, install the slave unit as follows. ・① Install the base unit and turn on the power. ・②Set the time on the base unit. ・③Set the handset number. (For details on the setting method, refer to How to set the radio clock) ・④Insert the battery into the handset. (For details on the setting method, refer to How to set the radio clock) ・⑤ After completing the settings, place the handset behind the clock you want to set the time to.

■Standard radio wave output (child unit → radio clock)

・Output frequency: 40kHz ・Radiation range: 30cm (no radio license required as it is weak radio) ・Radiation signal: for radio clock

■Wireless communication LPWA (communication between master unit and slave unit)

・Standard: LoRa ・Communication frequency: 920MHz ・Communication distance: line of sight 500m ・Maximum number of connected handsets: 70 (from Ver.2.0)
