2-component polyester primer Panaco PA for aromatic nylon materials
Musashi Paint Co., Ltd.

About This Product

■Summary

Nylon (polyamide) material has been widely used in the housings of mobile phones, notebook computers, etc. in recent years due to its excellent strength and rigidity. Among them, aromatic nylon materials have excellent flame retardancy, low water absorption, crystallinity, and solvent resistance, and various grades have been developed such as carbon fiber reinforced, glass fiber reinforced, and filler reinforced composite types. It is expected that it will become the mainstream of engineering plastics in the future. Panaco PA was developed as a primer for this purpose and is widely applicable to aromatic nylon materials.

■Features

・Excellent concealability ・Excellent adhesion to various grades of materials ・Excellent interlayer adhesion with top coat paint (Hiurex P series) ・Strong coating performance ・Excellent design Recommended thinners and hardeners

■Thinner

・Z-L163 Panaco PA thinner (quick drying type) ・Z-L165 Panaco PA thinner (standard type) ・Z-L167 Panaco PA thinner (slow drying type)

■Hardening agent

Z-H-430 (Standard)

■Applicable materials

・Aromatic nylon material (RENY manufactured by Mitsubishi Engineering Plastics, etc.) ・SPCC-SB polished steel plate ・SPCC-SB Zinc phosphate treated steel sheet ・Aluminum (A1050P) ・Aluminum alloy (A5052P) ・Stainless steel (SUS-304) ・Galvanized iron plate

■Precautions for use

- If foreign substances such as mold release agents adhere to the material, it may cause poor adhesion or repellency, so please wash it before painting. ・Panaco PA may have problems with solubility if used with a thinner other than the exclusive one, so please use the exclusive thinner when diluting the paint and cleaning the paint sprayer. - Various grades of materials are available, and their properties may differ from the original, so please check before using. ・Be sure to stir evenly before use. When painting, put the diluted paint in a stirring tank and paint while stirring. - Avoid direct sunlight and store paint in a cool, dark place (-20 to 40℃). ・Since it is a two-component paint, please make only the amount you need. Pot life is 4 hours at 20℃. Please note that if it exceeds its pot life, it may not be able to achieve its original performance.
