■Pure class A amplifier, XLR balanced high output and ultra-low distortion design
Conductor 3X Performance is a stationary headphone amplifier with a built-in USB-DAC and a preamp function. A fully balanced drive using XLR with a pure class-A operation amplifier circuit achieves a high output of 6W per channel (3W when single-ended), a high S/N ratio, and a dynamic range. Three sets of maximum current power supplies (MCPS) are used to enable dynamic and delicate detail expression.
In addition, by using XLR balance, it achieves ultra-low impedance and can be used as a preamplifier that is ideal for any power amplifier. It drives high-quality sound with high sensitivity without any spoiling, from flat drive types that require driving force to high-impedance headphones.
■Equipped with unique operational amplifier “V6 Vivid”
"V6 Vivid" is a successor model that has been improved in every aspect of the unique operational amplifier "V5 SS" installed in Conductor V2+. It exhibits an unparalleled performance that reproduces everything from an amazing dynamic range and three-dimensional sound stage to the finest details.
■Built-in USB-DAC compatible with PCM768kHz/32bit/DSD512
For D/A conversion, the well-established ESS SABER32 DAC [ES9038Q2M] is installed in a single configuration. Furthermore, by adopting an XMOS USB receiver chip, it supports native playback of PCM up to 768kHz/32bit and DSD up to 512 (22.4MHz/1bit). It allows connection not only to PCs but also to iOS and Android devices (OTG function required).
■Smooth control
The newly installed organic EL screen and interface program provide an intuitive user experience.The volume section uses a high-quality machined solid aluminum knob for easy operation and fine adjustment.
