■Summary
Band heaters are most suitable for cylindrical heating of cylinders and nozzles of extrusion molding machines, injection molding machines, etc. It is lightweight, thin, highly elastic, has good thermal conductivity, and responds quickly to temperature adjustments.
The structure consists of a nichrome ribbon wire insulated with heat-resistant mica as a heating element, and its outer periphery is covered and protected with a heat-resistant metal plate. Additionally, the connection terminals are generally made of stainless steel to prevent contact resistance due to oxidation.
There are 1-piece type (1P type) and flange type (F type), and the type is selected depending on the installation situation. The 2-piece type (2P type) is used for items that cannot be inserted from one side, such as cylinders. In addition to terminal specifications, we also manufacture lead wire specifications.
