About This Product

Currently, the development of dye-sensitized solar cells and other devices is actively progressing in order to supply inexpensive solar cells. The use of platinum (Pt), a rare metal, is considered to be a promising counter electrode in solar cells, but demand for platinum is increasing in many fields, and there are concerns about its stable supply. Therefore, we have developed a ternary material consisting of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs), ionic liquids (ILs), and conductive polymers (PEDOT:PSS) as counter electrode materials that can replace platinum.
