About This Product

In order to improve the fuel efficiency of automobiles, it is expected that the weight of automobile windows will be reduced by more than 50% by replacing conventional glass with plastic. We were the first in the world to succeed in creating a transparent alloy of polycarbonate (PC) and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) using a high-shear molding process. This transparent material is expected to be used in automotive window materials, smartphones, tablet devices, and even transparent panels for vehicles with curved structures.
