About This Product

■Bluehill® software dedicated to pendulum impact test systems

The Instron MPX Motorized Pendulum Impact Test System, featuring the new BLUEHILL® IMPACT software, is the ideal system for Charpy and Izod testing standards on metal specimens. Available in a load capacity range of 300 to 900 Joules. The MPX is efficient, easy to operate and suitable for high load testing. The test space is fully enclosed and uses an integrated protection and safety control system that meets the stringent requirements of the European CE mark and ISO13849, providing superior safety for your operators.

■Features and benefits

- Standard load capacities of 300, 450, 600, 750, and 900 Joules are available. ・The test starts automatically when the safety door is closed, making it efficient and ideal for non-room temperature tests. -Replaceable hammer weight (optional) allows easy adjustment of system load capacity without removing hammer shaft. ・High productivity and high operator safety are achieved by lifting the electric hammer and automatically returning it to the test starting position. ・Hammer brake, clutch, and latch mechanisms respond quickly and speed up operation. - Protective cover with interlock protects the operator by preventing the hammer from being released when the door is open. -Adjustable latch height adds settings suitable for testing at lower energies and speeds. ・The basic design of the standard complies with ASTM and ISO requirements. -Charpy indenter inserts and strikers can be selected to meet various international test standards. ・MPX can perform tests that comply with ASTME23, ISO148, EN10045, GOST9454, AS1544, JIS Z2242, and JIS B7722.
