About This Product

FocusTracker FT uses a new measurement principle to measure focus position in a quick and easy way. This new system can measure two different ranges of divergence angles with one device. In addition to optical setups, fibers can also be directly measured. Time resolution is up to 40Hz. FocusTracker FT helps you better understand and monitor the thermal behavior of your optical setup over process parameters. Available in VIS or NIR, water-cooled or air-cooled versions.

■Advantages

Learn more about the process and the essential focus shift. Measurements can be made using process parameters, CW and short-time irradiation settings. FocusTracker FT is very useful for developing process or optical setups. When used in service, it allows for quick and easy inspection and qualification of optical setups. Integrating the device into your machine allows you to track the performance of your optical setup and can also be used for quality control.

■Technical

FocusTracker FT measures the focus position in real time up to 40Hz. This gives you greater insight into the thermal characteristics of your optical setup than ever before. With increasingly narrow process windows and highly sensitive components such as batteries and electric motors, it is becoming increasingly important to have detailed information about the focus position at all times in the process. Adjust the FocusTracker FT to 90° to the incident beam. The main beam passes through the device, allowing maximum flexibility regarding incident power and unit placement. A small portion of the laser is taken into the device. Measure the beam divergence angle and calculate the exact location of the focal point.
