■The latest model of the FM series

FM+ is the ideal device for measuring and analyzing lasers in the processing shop, even at high output powers. Accurately measure focused beam beam properties, focused beam geometric size, focused position, BPP, and beam quality. The integrated Z-axis allows automatic full caustic measurements up to 4 Rayleigh lengths. This has made it easier to comply with measurement standards. We have further improved the globally successful FM to create FM+. New electronic circuitry with signal processing and a 16-bit AD converter makes the new electronics design suitable for today and tomorrow. The Ethernet interface allows fast and secure data transfer to a computer or system controller. The new mechanical design allows the FM+ to be installed upside down without any additional parts.

■Beam diagnostic equipment for green laser and blue laser

FocusMonitor FM+ can now measure multi-kW green and blue lasers. For the first time, it is now possible to efficiently measure from the far infrared to the blue laser spectral band to monitor laser-based mechanical processes, laser systems and production tasks. The spectral range of multi-kW green and blue lasers is particularly suitable for laser processing of copper materials, e.g. e-mobility batteries or electric motors. The absorption rate of copper is higher at wavelengths used in green and blue lasers than at wavelengths around 1 µm. This allows you to set lower power for the same productivity, or increase productivity for the same power. FocusMonitor FM+ can also be used as a standard device for focused beams in the green and blue laser spectral bands. Particularly suitable for e-mobility and battery manufacturing. Very little power is absorbed by the FM+ during measurement, so it must be used in conjunction with a power meter like PM. Power can be safely absorbed at the same time as caustic measurement and laser power measurement.
