■Field of use

EC-PM was developed for laser manufacturers and factory users. The self-inspection feature allows beams to be compared at different factories and branches, thus ensuring uniform measurement standards. Through the use of a heating element, the internal reference CW laser power is simultaneously measured with high precision.

■Principle: Self-inspection function

Cooling water is heated with a cartridge heater, and the heat energy generated by electricity is measured using a calorimeter method. This measurement is compared to the electrical power recorded at the heating element. For this purpose, the EC-PM is a system that allows you to accurately measure the power consumption and operating voltage of heating elements.
