■The latest model of the BM series

When cutting, joining, and surface processing with industrial lasers, it is necessary to accurately illuminate the laser beam in a productive and efficient manner. Even the smallest deviation (gradual increase in deterioration) makes it completely uneconomical. BM+ is a reliable instrument for analyzing unfocused beams. BM+ is a non-focus measuring instrument for high-power CO2 lasers and solid-state CW lasers, equipped with the latest electronics. By analyzing and documenting laser parameters, it is possible to optimize the process and/or check for errors such as bonding, beam position deviations, and misaligned optical components. Developed specifically for use in harsh factory production environments, the device is suitable for any environment and can even be installed upside down without additional parts.

■Discovery of deterioration and errors

Lasers are customized for each area of ​​application using telescopes and appropriate lenses. As a result, the beam waist diameter and divergence angle often vary significantly, changing the focal diameter and location of current systems for cutting and welding. Therefore, the light normally penetrates the material surface at the focal point, but in the actual cutting process it ends up being "pushed". When welding, the first setting (for example, low power) joins a part, and then welds. In addition to fluctuations, numerous other variable parameters can also be analyzed and documented. It is possible to detect lens deterioration that adversely affects processing results, and BM+ is also recognized for quality assurance and laser approval.
