About This Product

Br-Training Simulator" is a training simulator for practical training in blinded applicator assembly and intracavity irradiation combined with interstitial irradiation in high dose rate brachytherapy. The applicator must be assembled quickly and accurately in the body under invisible conditions during clinical procedures. Intracavitary irradiation combined with interstitial irradiation is an extremely useful treatment technique for the local control of locally advanced cervical cancer, but the lack of opportunities for practice has been an obstacle to its widespread use. "Br-Training Simulator" is an applicator insertion training kit that solves these problems. Features

■Practical training for combined intracavitary irradiation and interstitial irradiation possible

Practical training in combination of intravaginal irradiation and interstitial irradiation (hybrid brachytherapy), which has been difficult, is now possible.

■By attaching a blind cover, you can train under the same conditions as in actual treatment.

By attaching a blind cover, it is possible to reproduce the situation in which only the vaginal opening is visible during actual treatment. You can also experience the difficult intraluminal assembly of an applicator.

■You can train while removing the blind cover to visually check the vagina and cervix.

By removing the blind cover, you can train while explaining the insertion and placement of the applicator and needle in the transparent vagina and cervix.

■CT/MRI imaging possible after practical training

After training, CT and MRI imaging can be performed with the blind cover on, allowing for more realistic training.
