About This Product

According to the Act on the Regulation of Radioisotopes, etc., radiation facilities are required to measure radiation doses and contamination by radioisotopes, and radiation exposure of radiation workers is required to measure external and internal exposure. In addition, in recent years, there has been a growing demand for ensuring measurement reliability, and it has become more important to "obtain correct measurement values."

In order to obtain "correct measurements," it is important to calibrate the measuring instruments you use with equipment that is traceable to national measurement standards. Therefore, our company uses a calibration company (our Oarai Research Institute) to ensure traceability with national measurement standards in the radiation field as equipment for calibrating measuring instruments that measure radiation doses in radiation facilities and external exposure of radiation workers. We recommend that you install our calibration equipment.

■Equipment example 1: γ-ray irradiation device (collimation)The trolley-type gamma-ray irradiation device (collimated type) is suitable for irradiating and calibrating a wide range of measuring instruments, from dose equivalent rate meters to integrating dosimeters. By varying the irradiation distance, it is possible to accommodate a wide range of dose rates. In addition, by linking with a computer, it is possible to automatically calculate attenuation, irradiation distance, irradiation time, etc. according to the dose rate of the irradiation plan.

■Gamma ray irradiation device (2π type) Equipment example 2: Gamma ray irradiation device (2π type)The 2n type gamma ray irradiation device (2π type) is a useful device for irradiating a large amount of integrated dosimeters such as glass dosimeters, TLD elements, and electronic personal dosimeters all at once. Calibration can be performed remotely by setting the irradiation time of the radiation source.

■Features・The personal computer of the gamma ray irradiation device (collimated type) allows you to operate it with a password and manage the weekly source usage time.
- Radiation source irradiation, storage, and calibration of measuring instruments can be performed remotely, minimizing exposure.
・The radiation source position accuracy and irradiation distance setting accuracy are ensured, and the reproducibility is excellent.
- Conforms to JIS Z 4511:2005 for irradiation field uniformity, shutter opening/closing speed, and irradiation dose rate reproducibility.
