About This Product

■Product specifications

This is an acrylic resin that is ideal for those who want to be embedded in a short time. Although the adhesion is inferior to epoxy resin, we have received feedback that the gaps are not large enough to interfere with observation, so if you would like to check the condition, we would appreciate it if you would give us a chance to try it. The main ingredient is a powder and the hardening agent is a liquid, which is quickly mixed, poured into a mold, and hardens in about 15 minutes. It will harden without using a pressurizer, but bubbles will always remain. This results in a slightly whitish finish, but if there are no problems with the observation itself, it can of course be used without a pressurizer. However, if you are concerned about bubbles or that they interfere with observation, you can use a pressurizer to cure the material without bubbles. KM-U is an acrylic resin that is hardened by mixing powder and liquid. Can be used with heat-resistant materials.

■Usage

Used when you want to quickly bury heat-resistant materials, such as hardness tests and microstructure observations.

■Features

If it can withstand heat, it will cure the fastest among the room temperature curing resins. However, because the curing time is faster, shrinkage and adhesion are inferior to epoxy. We recommend that you use the pressurizer "PRESSURE VESSEL" together with this product as this will assist in deflation and will allow defoaming. *For pressurizers, please check the introduction of the equipment.
