About This Product

■Resin for sample analysis manufactured by KULZER in Germany Technovit® 4000

Technovit 4000 is a fast-curing, low-temperature polymerizing resin based on polyester. Harden with 3 ingredients: powder, syrup I, and syrup II.

■Material properties Technovit 4000 is characterized by low shrinkage during polymerization and perfect edge fit. Due to its excellent flow properties, it is possible to optimally embed samples with complex shapes. Its excellent adhesion to metals allows for gap-free resin filling of all metal specimens. It is also suitable for samples with porous surfaces, small cracks, and cavities in invisible areas.

■How to use

Mixing ratio 2:2:1 (powder: syrup I: syrup II) Mix syrup I and syrup II first, and mix the powder last. After mixing, it will harden in 6-13 minutes. Vacuum embedding is possible *However, only within the expiration date.
