■Principle and structure of bimetal thermometer
Bimetal thermometers have a simple structure, making them easier to maintain and more robust than glass thermometers. In addition, because the display can be read directly, its use is expanding in industrial applications, replacing glass thermometers. Bimetal is a material made by laminating two types of thin metal plates with different coefficients of expansion depending on temperature, and uses the torque of expansion to display and record temperature.
