About This Product

■Features・Since it is a zirconia ferrule, the end face has a low reflection finish compared to metal ferrules.
-The coefficient of thermal expansion is closer to that of quartz fiber than that of metal ferrules, so when combined with a heat-resistant adhesive, heat resistance of 200°C to 650°C can be obtained.
*In our experience, although it depends on the shape and size, reductions such as a decrease in transmittance are already seen from around 100℃ due to the effects of CTE. 
・Zirconia ferrules are compression molded and the inner diameter is polished, so the inner diameter has good accuracy and the exit angle is small. 
*Many metal ferrules have a two-stage inner diameter (only the tip of about 2 mm matches the fiber diameter), so the optical fiber tends to be slanted internally, increasing the light output angle. 
・30W/100μm core (Even when used at an optical power of 10kW/cm^2, as long as there was no axis misalignment, the power only slightly decreased even if there were white scratches, and no problems occurred. In particular, if there is no reflection from the input end, there is no problem as long as it is at the output end (kW class has not been tested).
- Connector type: FC, SMA (conforms to IEC standards, coupling nut is slightly longer and easier to grip). 
*Two types are available: hexagonal type and knurled type. 
- Both Hi-OH (for ultraviolet light) and Low-OH (for visible light) optical fibers can be manufactured. 
・We also manufacture bundled fibers with a double-headed bundle diameter of 670μm. Light can be distributed into several parts. 
- Three types of connectors are available: FC, SC, and SMA.
