■Tabletop coater TC-1S type (made to order)

The tabletop coater TC-1SG type is an automatic film applicator that is made to order and is capable of coating large formats. This device is equipped with a paint pan and a clip for fixing the base material, so that even if paint protrudes from the coated glass, the device will not get dirty. In November 2021, we made a model change and changed the operation panel to a touch panel. Until now, tabletop coaters (bar coaters) have been used manually, but since each person uses a different amount of force when applying the coating with a bar coater, it has been seen as a problem that the conditions are not consistent. For this reason, automatic coaters like this device are attracting attention. By using this device, anyone can obtain the same evaluation under the same conditions. In recent years, this equipment has been attracting a lot of attention because the JIS standard recommends automatic coating.

■Features of tabletop coater TC-1SG type

The tabletop coater TC-1SG type is a device that can coat up to A3. Since it uses a glass plate and a polished stainless steel tray, cleaning after coating is easy. Even if the coating liquid spills out of the glass, it will fall into the stainless steel tray, so all you have to do is wipe it off afterwards. The change from the old model is that the control panel is now a touch panel. Other uses such as speed remain unchanged and have not changed. The TC-1SG model is a made-to-order machine.

■Operation of tabletop coater

The operation screen has changed with the TC-1SG model. Previously, segment displays and push buttons were used, but this has been changed to touch panel operation. In the operating procedure, the company name is displayed after the power is turned on, the speed is set, and the operation screen is displayed. Speed ​​settings can also be changed from the operation screen. The use of a touch panel allows for intuitive operation, and the operation panel is also cleaner.
