The tabletop coater TC-3S is an automatic film applicator that is equipped with a touch panel that dramatically improves operability, and also has an emergency stop function as a safety measure. Many options such as vacuum suction cups and heating units are available.

■What is a tabletop coater?

Tabletop coaters (small automatic film applicators) have traditionally been used manually, but since each person uses a different amount of force when applying with a bar coater, it has been seen as a problem that the conditions are not consistent. For this reason, automatic coaters like this device are attracting attention. By using this device, anyone can obtain the same evaluation under the same conditions. In recent years, this equipment has been attracting a lot of attention because the JIS standard recommends automatic coating. A desktop coater (small automatic film applicator) is a flat plate coating machine that places the base material on the coated glass and coats the base material at a constant speed. A motor is used to drive the tabletop coater, and the device can only operate in three ways: forward, stop, and backward, but we have devised various measures to ensure smooth operation even at low speeds. It is now easier to understand distance settings and what to do when an error occurs than ever before, and it is also easier to use than ever before.
