About This Product

■Ultrasonic homogenizer The ultrasonic homogenizer is a product that Mitsui Electric Seiki has been manufacturing and selling as a purely domestic manufacturer for over 30 years, and has sold about 150 units a year. Ultrasonic homogenizers are widely used in the field of biochemistry, including crushing bacterial cells, dispersing minerals, and promoting reactions. Carbon nanotube dispersion, which has been attracting attention in recent years, is said to be most suitable for processing with an ultrasonic homogenizer, which can also disperse very hard samples such as ceramics and pigments, and can also disperse nanocarbons and diamonds. We have a proven track record. ■Principle of ultrasonic homogenizer The ultrasonic homogenizer consists of an oscillator and a vibrator. The principle of ultrasonic dispersion is that the output sent from an oscillator is converted into vibration by a vibrating element inside the vibrator, and the tip at the tip of the vibrator generates longitudinal vibrations approximately 20,000 times per second. When this vibration is performed in a liquid, pressure is repeatedly applied and depressurized in the liquid, and vacuum bubbles are repeatedly generated and burst in the liquid. The moment a vacuum bubble bursts or collapses in the liquid, a large shock wave occurs, creating large turbulence in the liquid, and the particles in the liquid are torn off or collided with each other, making them atomized. This principle is used as the dispersion mechanism of an ultrasonic homogenizer. The main feature of the ultrasonic homogenizer is that it does not apply physical impact force, but rather just collides particles, etc., so the final particle size is relatively spherical, so it can be used in the final process of dispersion, or in particle size distribution systems. It is often used for pretreatment. ■Ultrasonic homogenizer UX-600 The UX-600 ultrasonic homogenizer (ultrasonic dispersion machine) is capable of both batch processing and continuous processing, and is the only ultrasonic homogenizer (ultrasonic dispersion machine) that can operate 24 hours a day. Batch processing can process up to around 1L and primarily uses beakers. By using the optional continuous holder and circulating with a liquid feed pump, the throughput can be dramatically increased. Batch processing conditions, production preconditions, and mass processing processes can all be set up in one machine. ■Chemical field It is used for emulsification and dispersion, and is used in a wide range of applications such as dispersing ceramics, pigments, carbon, CNTs, and polymers, and provides accurate measurement results when used before measuring particle size distribution.
