About This Product

The linear shaft KL 5000 is an additional axis, optional, and can be equipped with an intelligent lubrication system that simplifies maintenance. If you use a KUKA lubrication kit, the rack and slide rail will be automatically lubricated during production.

The Linear unit KL 5000 is used for handling portable weight up to 5,000 kg. This shaft can be attached to a robot with a portable weight of 800 kg and an reach of almost 4,000 mm.

Up to 31 meters length can be set on a bogie via a linear axis that can be set. In the Flex type, other companies' robots can be attached to the axis.

Kuka.lubricate is a software that can be used with the linear shaft KL 5000. Automatically collect and evaluate the distance and operation time.

One step further with a KUKA lubrication kit: Running rail lubrication is not manual, but operates by software as needed. The linear axis is equipped with a pump, and while the robot keeps running, the pump automatically loses the rack and running rail from the four corners of the bogie. The amount of lubricants is calculated by the software based on the advanced mileage.
