KL 4000 is a floor -installed independent KUKA linear unit. The linear unit operates as an additional axis of the robot. Controls are performed with the corresponding robot controller. The linear unit KL 4000 is a linear axis that can withstand transportation up to 4000 kilograms. This can be configured in two modules, 1.5 or 2 meters long. As a result, the overall length is up to 31.5 meters, and the work space is greatly expanded. The KL 4000 linear unit creates a new standard. I am confident in the compact structure of the KL 4000 pedestal. With the arrangement of optimized motors and transmissions, the valid stroke is 0.4 meters larger than the KL 1500-3. In addition, KL 4000 enables simple and flexible planning. This is because the robot of the KR Quantec series and the KR Fortec series can be installed on the same line. Optimal arrangement The new base fixing concept of fixing the base with a flexible screw system can install KL 4000 without welding work. This saves the time it takes to place. In addition, the axis can be readjusted at any time. Reduction of required area The cable bear has an interior up to 8.4 meters of strokes and can be attached to two pedestals. This reduces the mounting surface of the linear unit. At the same time, if the KL 4000 stroke is 30.4 meters, the rail length will be the longest 31.5 meters, realizing a large work space. Ease of maintenance Motors and transmissions are arranged so that they can be replaced without removing the robot. The same applies to the roller and can be easily replaced anywhere in the KL 4000. The best reliability of the backlash and optional lubrication that can be adjustable to flexible is guaranteed the highest reliability.
