About This Product

Ideal for optical transmission/reception experiments in wavelength multiplexing or special environments. Transmission/reception systems for various standards and general analog signals can be easily constructed. MWL-TX2 is a transmission module that converts electrical signals with a frequency of 2KHz to 3GHz into optical intensity modulation signals. The emission wavelength is determined by laser selection (1,470-1,590nm). MWL-RX2 is a module that converts optical intensity modulation signals into voltage signals, and the reception wavelength range is from 1,470nm to 1,610nm. We recommend that the optical fiber connecting the transmitting module and receiving module be a general single mode fiber with a mode field diameter of 9um, with SC connectors at both ends, and an 8° angled PC polished (APC polished) ferrule tip. Install four MWL-TX2 with different wavelengths and one 4-branch CWDM coupler on one metal plate, then install MWL-RX2 in the same way with four receiving modules and one 4-branch CWDM coupler. By installing it on two metal plates and connecting both sides with optical fiber, 4ch wavelength multiplexed transmission can be achieved.
