About This Product

We have developed a Laser Source (WSTL-2) and an Optical Receiver (WRTL-2) as an optical link system for TTL pulse signal transmission used for the discharge trigger of the Super KEKB accelerator DR kicker power supply.

■E/O side unit: Laser Source (WSTL-2)

・Transmits ultra-low duty TTL signals with a pulse width of several microseconds and a frequency range of 0 to 50Hz using an SM fiber cable. ・The transmission jitter of the trigger signal that changes in the range of 0 to 50 Hz is required to be 100 ps (p-p), and the rise/fall time of the optical output of the E/O side unit and the electrical output of the O/E side unit is approximately 2ns or less.

■O/E side unit: Optical Receiver (WRTL-2)

The above specifications are achieved by using it in combination with the E/O side unit "WSTL-2", which was developed at the same time.
