■Summary

Vectran is a high-strength polyarylate fiber backed by advanced technology. Vectran is a polyarylate fiber developed by Kuraray Co., Ltd., which takes advantage of its high strength and low moisture absorption characteristics to be used in parachutes for Mars explorers, industrial materials (ropes, belts, etc.), net wire, protective equipment (gloves, shoes), etc. It is used in various situations.

・High strength ・Excellent heat resistance ・Maintains excellent mechanical properties even at low temperatures ・Low water absorption ・Excellent chemical and water resistance *Colored items (color-dyed yarn) are made to order. *Some products are treated to be water repellent. *Cannot be dyed

■Caution

UV resistance: Care must be taken regarding strength for applications that involve long exposure periods. Also, please be careful when storing it. *Other product numbers are available.
