■Structure and action
・Industry's first "metal ring locking function"
U-NUT is made up of two parts: the nut body and a friction ring (special spring).The friction ring is fixed to the top of the nut by caulking and is integrated.
・The forces (P) and (P') applied by the friction ring generate prevailing torque (friction torque) on the effective thread, which prevents free rotation.

■Prevailing torque and reusability
Prevailing torque is the friction torque generated by the friction ring acting on the bolt thread.
Even after using it for 10 cycles, there is only a slight decrease in the prevailing torque value, and it can be reused.
