About This Product

When passing parallel BCD or binary signals through GP-IB, this GP-IB gate controller unit eliminates the need for complicated timing circuit design by simply adding an external decoding circuit and latch circuit. This unit allows high-speed data communication with external devices using an 8-bit bidirectional data bus and timing signals for input and output. It is especially effective when communicating large amounts of data continuously with memory, etc. via GP-IB.

■Summary

・Extensible GP-IB gate controller unit. GP-IB connector is IEEE standard, I/O bus is FC connector. ・Equipped with an 8-bit bidirectional data bus, 8-bit address signals, and other input/output signals such as read and write to facilitate connection between GP-IB bus signals and digital I/O such as BCD. This is a GP-IB adapter. - The number of input/output data can be expanded up to 2048 bits/256 bytes.

■Specifications

・Compliant with GP-IB interface standard (IEEE Std 488-1978) ・Interface function SHI,AHI, T6L, 4SR1,RL1, PPO,DC1,DT1,CO - Input operation The adapter acts as a talker and sends the output data of the connected device to the GP-IB side. Signal level: TTL (Fan-in = 1) - Output operation The adapter becomes a listener and outputs data from the GP-IB side to the connected device. Store level: TTL (fanout = 10)
