About This Product
The os7500 is a fiber optic accelerometer using Fabry-Perot (FP) technology. By measuring with the optical measuring instrument HYPERION, it is possible to measure with unprecedented sensitivity.
The os7500 uses a two-fiber I/O design. This design allows each sensor to respond only to optical signals within the 20nm band, passing all other wavelengths in both directions. As a result, up to eight accelerometers can be coupled per one optical channel when using the 160nm wavelength range of the optical instrument HYPERION. Mounting blocks for 2 and 3 axes are also available. By choosing the appropriate mounting method. It is possible to obtain accurate measurements.
