About This Product

The os4100 series is a fiber Bragg grating (FBG) spot welded, adhesive or screw-mount optical temperature compensated sensor. The os4100 is designed to facilitate fiber handling and speed sensor installation. In addition, it is covered with a stainless steel carrier to prevent the FBG from breaking and to ensure long-term continuous use, no adhesive is used to secure the FBG inside. For welded or screw-mounted types, it can be used immediately after just a few minutes of installation. When mounted with adhesive, it hardens and can be used at normal temperatures in 24 hours, just like electric foil strain gauges.
