About This Product

This electrolytic copper foil for FCCL uses HD2, which is a further evolution of HD, which boasts the same flexibility as tough pitch copper, and has been subjected to ultra-low roughness surface roughening treatment for excellent high frequency characteristics. Copper foil's outstanding flexibility and transmission characteristics will contribute to a new era of FPC.

■Ultra-low roughness, finely roughened surface

A submicron level ultra-fine roughening treatment is applied to the high-gloss raw foil, which has significantly reduced roughness using a newly developed special method. In addition to bendability, it achieves substrate transparency and low haze after etching.

■Transmission characteristics

Low conductor loss realized by unique surface treatment technology: On top of high-gloss raw foil whose roughness has been significantly reduced using a newly developed special method, surface treatment designed specifically for high-speed transmission, including ultra-fine roughening treatment, is applied. By applying this, it is possible to greatly suppress loss during high-speed transmission.

■Bending resistance

High bending resistance comparable to rolled copper foil: Although FLEQ-HD is an electrolytic foil, it is an electrolytic copper foil that boasts excellent bending properties comparable to or better than rolled copper foil. Additionally, unlike rolled foil, the difference in physical properties between MD and TD is very small, increasing the degree of freedom in design.

This is a copper foil exclusively for high-speed signal FCCL that has both high bending properties equivalent to rolled copper foil and the highest class transmission properties of electrolytic copper foil.
