Air jet-Model 6013 High Speed Air Jet
Air jet-CST Co., Ltd.

About This Product

Air consumption can be reduced by up to 80% compared to exposed copper tubes and pipes commonly used for blow-off. Less compressed air means even less noise. Typical noise level reduction is 10dBA. Exair air nozzles/air jets meet OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) maximum allowable dead-end pressures and noise levels.

■How air jets work

Air jets use the Coanda effect (air flowing at high speed along internal walls) to generate air movement around them. As shown in the picture on the right, a small amount of compressed air (black arrow) passes through the throttle and forms a ring-shaped air nozzle along the inner wall. A vacuum area is created and a large volume of surrounding air is drawn in to form a jet. Its exhaust and intake ports can also act as ducts for any location. If the ends become obstructed, the airflow will violate OSHA maximum allowable pressure requirements.
