About This Product

Electronic flow control (EFC) optimizes compressed air consumption for blow-off, drying, cooling, conveying, static removal, etc. to a minimum. Dramatically reduces compressed air costs by turning off the valve when there is no product on the line.

■What is EFC?

Exair EFC is an electronic flow control designed to minimize the use of compressed air for operations such as blow-off, drying, cooling, conveying and static removal. EFC combines optoelectronic sensors with timing controls to limit compressed air by turning it off when product is not on the line.

■Why EFC?

In most companies, compressed air is used more frequently than electricity as a power source for various equipment on the manufacturing floor. Simple operations using compressed air can easily waste electricity if not properly controlled. EFC was designed to improve efficiency by minimizing compressed air consumption. As a result, compressed air costs have been reduced. The compressed air is turned on only when the object is on the line, providing enough compressed air to perform the specific task or operation. The input voltage of the EFC is 100V to 240VAC, 50/60Hz to suit worldwide usage environments. The compact optoelectronic sensor has adjustable sensitivity and can detect objects up to 1m away. The sensor has excellent immunity to noise and dielectric loads common in manufacturing environments, and special mounting hardware makes it easy to install in tight spaces. The control system is flexible with many valve operation modes and delay times. The polycarbonate case is suitable for use in a variety of applications, including humid environments.

■Application

・Blow-off of automobile body ・Cleaning of packaging ・Parts cleaning after cleaning ・Dust removal before packaging ・Filling operation ・Dust removal before painting ・Removal of dirt ・Cooling of high temperature parts ・Static electricity removal ・Cleaning of molded products

■Advantages

・Input voltage 100-240VAC, 50/60Hz ・Compatible with NEMA 4/IP56 environment ・Compact sensor can be installed even in narrow spaces ・On/off delay time setting ・Time setting from 0.10 seconds to 120 hours ・Dust- and water-resistant sensor ・Sensor with noise-resistant and dielectric load-resistant structure ・Sensor detection distance up to 1m
